My import returned fewer rows than the API has
The API is almost certainly paginating. Configure pagination in the request rather than raising a page-size parameter, and check your plan's pages-per-run limit.
A column I expected is missing
Either it was unticked in the explorer, or it does not exist on the records that came back. Run JSON_SCHEMA() on the payload to see every path the response actually contains.
My row count exploded
You are in rows mode with a nested array. Switch to join or json if one row should mean one record.
A formula shows a #ERROR! I cannot read
Hover the cell for the full message — ours always start with JSON for Sheets:. If it does not, the error is coming from Sheets itself, usually a spill conflict with existing content.
We will never ask for a secret
JSON for Sheets support will never ask for your password, an API token, a payment card number, or a database key. If a message claiming to be from us does, it is not from us.
