What counts as a successful remote request

One upstream HTTP request that returns a 2xx response containing valid JSON. Each pagination page counts separately. Redirect hops do not.

Free — never charged
Every local formula and paste-to-table conversion
Range-to-JSON export
Cache hits within your chosen TTL
Timeouts, DNS failures, and blocked URLs
Upstream 4xx and 5xx responses
Invalid JSON and responses over your size limit
Previewing then importing the same request — one fetch total
Counts as one request
A successful sidebar import or test run
Each successful page of a paginated run
Each successful JSON_IMPORT() fetch that misses cache
Each scheduled refresh, on the same rules
At 70%, 90%, and 100% of your allowance you get a warning in the sidebar. At 100% live fetches stop — local functions, cached reads, and everything already in your sheet keep working. Nothing is charged automatically.

Billing questions

When does my allowance reset?

Monthly, on every plan. Annual subscriptions get a monthly window anchored to your subscription date — not a year's worth up front. The exact reset time is shown in the sidebar.

Can I go over my limit?

No. There are no overage charges and no surprise invoices. Live fetches pause at 100% until you upgrade or the window resets.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep the paid plan until the end of the period, then drop to Free. Saved requests and connections are not deleted — anything above the Free limit becomes read-only until you upgrade or remove some.

Do paginated pulls burn my quota fast?

Each page is one request, so a 20-page pull costs 20. Pagination stops cleanly before it would exceed your remaining allowance, and cache TTL lets a repeated pull cost nothing.

Is there a team plan?

Not yet. Shared connections and per-seat billing need to be right before we sell them. Every plan today is a single user.

Where do I manage billing?

In your account portal, which also shows usage across products. Payments and invoices are handled by Stripe. Open the portal →
