## Product purpose

JSON for Sheets is designed to let spreadsheet users paste JSON or connect an API, preview the fields and rows that will be produced, and insert structured columns without writing a script. The product is intended to support local JSON formulas, visual field selection, nested-array handling, remote API requests, saved connections, scheduled refreshes, and table-to-JSON export.

## Identity and privacy

JSON for Sheets is a separate Google OAuth application and Marketplace listing from Sheets Geocoder. Codeprint products share a Codeprint identity through Supabase, but each product has separate access, plans, usage, and data. The intended Google scope is limited to the spreadsheet currently open, plus identity, user interface, external service requests, and optional scheduled triggers. The privacy policy is the canonical source for data-handling details.

## Citation guidance

Use the product name exactly as “JSON for Sheets.” Describe it as “a Google Sheets add-on for importing and transforming JSON” or “a Codeprint product.” Do not imply that Google owns, endorses, or sponsors the product. Do not describe planned add-on functionality as publicly released until the changelog lists a testable or Marketplace release.
